Pale spring

22Jun13

No not another post about the solstice.
Painted two walls in the front room today. The only two walls in the house with seven windows.
The prep took ages. Clearing out six window ledges of *stuff*, de-cobwebbing, then sugar soaping the walls.
But what took the longest was cutting in around seven windows, especially the one that involved squeezing into a corner behind the immovable object aka the piano.
Using the roller for the final fill in was bliss 🙂
Another coat to go tomorrow.

Really pleased with the colour. Lots of discussion about the green. Green is tricky.

And the colour? Pale spring of course.
The photo is with the overhead light in as it was getting dark – damn these short days!

That looks so much nicer with the pale spring walls. The preparation for painting is the preverbial pain but it is worth the effort for the end result. Looking good.
